SUEZ

SUEZ manages Whinney Hill Landfill Site near Accrington, a closed landfill under restoration and aftercare. Whinney Hill no longer accepts waste and is not open to the public, so it is not somewhere to bring a skip load. Ongoing monitoring and restoration work protects the surrounding environment and keeps the landfill within regulatory requirements. Elsewhere in the North of England SUEZ provides commercial recycling and waste services for businesses, covering general waste, food waste, glass, hazardous waste, confidential waste and electrical and electronic equipment. Commercial waste is processed at local facilities, where it is reused, recycled or used to generate energy. Businesses can call 0800 990 3718 for a quote.
